Heron Park Baptist Church is a community church in the east end of Toronto.  We are about 300 people, from many diverse backgrounds and christian traditions.  We are a part of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec, and the Toronto Area Association of Baptist Churches.  As a church we believe that our goal is to be a place of blessing and encouragement for the congregation and the community.

What we Believe:
  • We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, and is our authority for matters of faith and Christian practice
  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, that he died, rose again, and will one day return.
  • We believe Christianity is both a decision and a journey, that Christians must strive to emulate the life of Christ, and practice his teachings.

Our Mission Statement:

We at Heron Park Baptist Church strive to be a Christ-centered, evangelical ministry called to follow Jesus by:
  • Loving God and our neighbour
  • Serving God and our community
  • Discipling all people to do the same
