The Prayer of Thanksgiving
 
The prayer of thanksgiving is a simple prayer in which we give thanks to God for his blessings to us. It could be a blessing at meal time, it could be a word of thanks for the day, or it could be a special prayer in which you give thanks to God for something wonderful that has happened to you. This prayer can also be accomplished by reading a psalm of thanksgiving. So if you don’t have anything you want to give thanks for, but your spirit needs to say thanks to God, simply read a psalm of thanksgiving.
